Infant Care Class with Nurturely Infant Care Agency

Nurtureley Infant Care Class Overview:

This class is designed to give new and expecting parents real, evidence-based confidence before and after baby arrives. Taught by a NICU Registered Nurse, this course offers the practical knowledge most families don't get until they're already home wondering what to do.

What parents walk away with:

  • Hands-on skills for feeding, soothing, safe sleep, and newborn care — all aligned with AAP and CDC guidelines.

  • The ability to read their baby's hunger and stress cues with confidence

  • A clear understanding of what's normal vs. what warrants a call to the pediatrician

  • Hands-on infant CPR practice

  • A copy of Nurtureley's Infant Care Handbook to reference at home

  • A more prepared mindset heading into those first weeks with baby

Class structure: The class runs about 2.5 hours and combines brief instruction with hands-on practice. Topics include safe sleep, feeding basics (breast and bottle), bathing, soothing techniques, infant CPR, and when to seek care. There's dedicated time for Q&A so every family leaves with their specific questions answered — not just a generic handout.

A few other things to note:

  • Small group format: Open to 8 Couples. Intentionally kept intimate so parents feel comfortable asking anything

  • Welcoming to all family structures and feeding choices

  • NICU-graduate families and multiples are always welcome

  • Register 1 Adult, not both. This class may be eligible for reimbursement through insurance providers. We recommend that participants check with their specific plans for details. Itimized receipts will be given at the end of class.
